RACHAEL PODOLAK
ASSISTANT WEDDING COORDINATOR

Rachael is well versed in the event and wedding industry with 5+ years of having a hand in various parts of carrying out a couple's special day. The most rewarding feeling in this industry is seeing a couple relaxed, smiling ear to ear, and laughing throughout their entire wedding day.

Upon graduating from Nazareth College, Rachael continued working at Midvale Country Club working showers, private dinners, and weddings. Rachael had found her passion by seeing the instant reward weddings have to offer and having the opportunity to build a wedding from the ground up. This shortly became a goal of hers to learn from some of the best in the industry and work alongside them.

In 2020 this goal became more reachable working alongside LooLoo’s Events as an assistant day-of coordinator. Fast forward to 2023, Rachael now works with and learns, as an assistant wedding coordinator with Eliza Jane Events.

In addition to assisting in weddings, Rachael spends her free time with friends, working out with gal pals, and finding new coffee shops to try in Rochester.

Rachael finds value in creating personable relationships with every client and cannot wait to see your big day unfold together!

OUR TEAM

Heather brings efficiency with a delicate touch as an on-site coordinator with Eliza Jane Events. With an eye for detail and creative design, she can bring your vision to life. Heather has had multiple wedding seasons with Eliza. She is calm, organized, and adaptable in any situation. Her positive, warm personality shines through in every task she performs. Her favorite moments of every wedding are seeing the set-up evolve into the final décor look, and of course, when the bride and groom see each other for the first time. Motivated by the special love each couple shares, she is dedicated to seeing your dream wedding unfold.

When not working, Heather likes to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life. She enjoys peaceful mornings with crisp air, chirping birds, and flowers in bloom. In her free time, she can be found with her husband and two dogs. Heather also enjoys baking, caring for animals, and learning new things.

Amelia DeSino is the owner and baker of Amelia's Sweet Treats. Being a perfectionist and having the gift and passion to help others, Amelia strives to do everything to the uttermost perfection. From a very young age, she loved helping her mother coordinate and execute her own personal events. Whether it was a bridal shower, birthday party, or special event Amelia was always by her side ready to help. Amelia is extremely detail-oriented and hardworking. She believes her years of event experience have contributed to her preparation for the role as an on-site coordinator with Eliza Jane Events.

A lover of all things weddings, Amelia is excited to be a part of coordinating your wedding day stress-free and as smoothly as possible. In addition to being an onsite coordinator, Amelia balances high school and still finds time to bake incredible sweets!

Kate Palmer is a lover of all things wedding related, from the cake to the invites, the flowers,  the photos, the dancing, the dresses, the food and the toasts. Charcuterie is her love language and a good Manchego is the way to her heart.

After planning her own small wedding in Nashville in 2016 she realized how much goes into  each detail on the big day. She is so happy to be joining Eliza’s team to assist making other  couples’ wedding days just as special.

Kate spent nearly a decade living in Los Angeles before moving back to Pittsburgh and then Rochester in late 2019 to be with her husband Cory, principal bassist of the  RPO. TV and Film are Kate’s passions with dogs and Elvis being a close second. When she’s not  working at the George Eastman Museum, she can be found doing pilates or trying to find the best coffee in Rochester.

Kim,  previously a Director of Events & Concert Operations has experience in event planning from dinner parties to arena events. Hospitality is her passion.

Planning, executing, organizing, and marketing events comes naturally to her and she has been in the field for over 10 years. Kim serves as  On-Site/Social Media Coordinator and looks forward to the future as events return to normal functions and is excited to help grow Eliza Jane Events.

In addition to her hardworking and bubbly personality, Kim is a wife of over 30 years and mom to three grown girls.

Kelly has worked in the service industry for over 30 years, from putting herself through college to working part-time while managing her career in healthcare and higher education.

She brings an eye for detail and is dedicated to each task she takes on.  Kelly has had wonderful experiences working in the service industry and sharing numerous special occasions with so many wonderful people.

It is an actual delight to be working with Eliza and Eliza Jane Events and continue sharing those special events with new clientele.

Kara is a graduate of the 2021 Events Management program at Monroe Community College. As a part of her program, she began her work in weddings and events as an intern with Honeydew Events in the summer 2021 season. Before attending MCC, Kara graduated from Roberts Wesleyan with a bachelor's degree in Religion and Philosophy in 2017, and she then worked in music ministry at several churches and conferences over the next few years.

Much of her responsibility in these roles included envisioning and managing events of various types and sizes. She found that she had some natural skills and enjoyment for this type of work.

Kara also works as a freelance musician and singer. Prior to attending MCC, she had been hired to perform music for several weddings and events. Between her ministry experience and her experience playing for weddings, she found herself drawn to the details of events and weddings. Ultimately, it was these experiences that inspired her to pursue education and work in the events management field.

WHY WE LOVE WHAT WE DO

Starting previously with a beautiful planning, photography, and design company we've created beautifully elegant weddings for all our couples. Now focused solely  on our love for planning and all things details, Eliza strives to have no two weddings alike.

Beyond the weddings, I've been in your shoes. A once stressed out bride who was able to throughly enjoy my wedding day with an incredible planning team behind me.

I truly care about the details others overlook. I've attended weddings with wrinkly linens, chipped plates, and crooked chairs that made me cringe. When we work together you can trust that my detail-oriented team will give you the wedding of your dreams.

Let's do this!

Eliza

MAY THIS BE THE BEGINNING OF A BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP
